Project Manager Interior design - CONTRACT

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of a major retail shopping mall project for 6 months initially (maybe longer), in a contract based in London with hybrid working, joining a collaborative design team working on a high-profile Middle East development.

The role will involve managing a multi-disciplinary team spanning strategy, architecture, interior design, and signage & wayfinding, ensuring alignment across all project deliverables.

The position will also involve regular liaison with the ID team and the client team, ensuring strong communication and programme coordination across all stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for someone experienced in large-scale retail or mixed-use developments, particularly within the Middle East market.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the overall project programme, timelines, and deliverables
• Coordinate and oversee a multi-disciplinary team including strategy, architecture, interior design, and signage & wayfinding
• Liaise closely with design team, the client team, and other consultants to ensure project alignment
• Monitor project progress, risks, and milestones across multiple workstreams
• Maintain and update project schedules
• Manage document control and project documentation, including drawing packages, manuals, or design guidelines
• Support leadership with project reporting and programme tracking
• Facilitate clear communication between internal teams, consultants, and clients

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a Project Manager on large-scale retail or mixed-use developments
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary design teams (strategy, architecture, interior design, signage & wayfinding or similar)
• Strong programme management skills using Primavera or MS Project
• Experience with document management, including drawing packages, manuals, or guideline documentation
• Experience working on projects in Saudi Arabia is highly desirable
• Experience delivering projects for large PIF entities in KSA would be beneficial, or large-scale retail or mixed-use developments
• Confident coordinating multiple consultants and client stakeholders
• Highly organised with strong communication and leadership skills
• Potential future travel involved
