Job Description

Are you a dedicated and talented Architect or Senior Architect seeking a pivotal role within a design-focused, forward-thinking, and people-friendly architectural practice? We would love to hear from you.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a UK Top 5 practice within their specialist Education & Healthcare team. You will take a leading role in shaping the future of learning environments, focusing on the design and delivery of innovative, sustainable schools that make a genuine impact on local communities.

If you have 2–5 years of post-qualification experience, a passion for educational or healthcare design, and expert-level Revit skills, this is the perfect career move for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the day-to-day management and coordination of educational & healthcare projects.
  • Driving projects forward from initial concept through to technical delivery.
  • Working closely with Project Directors and Associates to ensure design excellence.
  • Providing guidance, mentorship, and support to junior colleagues.
  • Liaising with the Department for Education (DfE) and navigating sector-specific requirements.

Skills & Experience

  • 2–5 years of post-qualification experience (ARB/RIBA/RIAS registered).
  • Proven experience in the Education sector is essential, specifically working on DfE-funded school projects.
  • Strong Revit proficiency is a must, with the ability to lead on technical delivery.
  • A natural team player with a collaborative approach to design and problem-solving.
  • Confident in client-facing environments and skilled in stakeholder engagement.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid UK-based experience with a strong grasp of design and technical standards.
  • A keen interest in sustainability and emerging trends in school design.
