Key Responsibilities

  • Develop design briefs into well-resolved technical solutions in line with the RIBA Plan of Work
  • Produce robust, detailed construction information and specifications using Revit and NBS
  • Contribute to the preparation and coordination of pre-construction information and statutory submissions
  • Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, construction law, and relevant codes of practice
  • Support design coordination through workshops, project reviews, and multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Assist with value engineering, cost awareness, and design-to-budget considerations
  • Attend client, contractor, and consultant meetings, accurately recording actions and technical issues
  • Support risk management processes, including Design Risk Registers and document control procedures

Skills and Experience

  • CIAT-qualified Architectural Technologist with a degree in Architectural Technology
  • Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience within a UK architectural practice
  • Strong working knowledge of Revit and BIM-led delivery
  • Good understanding of UK Building Regulations, construction law, and technical standards
  • Experience producing detailed construction and production information packages
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal, with client-facing experience
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work independently when required
