Key Responsibilities
- Develop design briefs into well-resolved technical solutions in line with the RIBA Plan of Work
- Produce robust, detailed construction information and specifications using Revit and NBS
- Contribute to the preparation and coordination of pre-construction information and statutory submissions
- Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations, construction law, and relevant codes of practice
- Support design coordination through workshops, project reviews, and multidisciplinary collaboration
- Assist with value engineering, cost awareness, and design-to-budget considerations
- Attend client, contractor, and consultant meetings, accurately recording actions and technical issues
- Support risk management processes, including Design Risk Registers and document control procedures
Skills and Experience
- CIAT-qualified Architectural Technologist with a degree in Architectural Technology
- Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience within a UK architectural practice
- Strong working knowledge of Revit and BIM-led delivery
- Good understanding of UK Building Regulations, construction law, and technical standards
- Experience producing detailed construction and production information packages
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal, with client-facing experience
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work independently when required
