An award-winning, net-zero carbon innovator in London is seeking a creative and technically-minded individual to join their studio at the forefront of the modular housing revolution.

This practice is not a traditional consultancy; they are a pioneering design-and-build developer specialising in high-quality, ultra-low-carbon residential and mixed-use projects. By utilising Modern Methods of Construction (MMC), they deliver precision-engineered homes on complex urban sites.

You will be joining an agile, multidisciplinary team where your designs move rapidly from the screen to the site. This is a rare opportunity for a Part II Architectural Assistant to gain deep expertise in sustainable technology and the "future of housing" while working toward their professional qualification.

Key Responsibilities

• Support project teams across all RIBA stages, with a particular focus on feasibility, planning, and technical delivery.
• Develop high-quality Revit models and technical drawing packages optimised for off-site manufacturing.
• Collaborate with in-house engineers and construction specialists to ensure design-for-manufacture (DfMA) excellence.
• Produce compelling visualisations and presentation materials for local authorities and stakeholders.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of sustainable, low-energy housing prototypes.

Skills and Experience

• Part II qualified with a portfolio that demonstrates both design thinking and technical rigour.
• A passionate interest in sustainable design, carbon reduction, and modular architecture.
• Proficiency in Revit is essential, alongside SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience (or a strong interest) in a design-and-build or MMC-focused environment.
• A proactive, "solutions-oriented" mindset with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced studio.
