Job Description

We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded, design-led architecture practice based in London, known for its collaborative culture and high-quality projects.

This is a key front-of-house role, acting as the first point of contact for both clients and team members during the evening. You will be responsible for meeting and greeting, maintaining a professional and welcoming environment, and representing the studio to the highest standard. Your presence will play an important role in supporting the smooth running of the practice at the close of the day. (Availability to work evening hours, 5 days a week (4:30pm–9:00pm, 22.5 hours per week) with reliability and consistency)

Responsibilities

  • Acting as the first point of contact, meeting and greeting clients and visitors with a warm and professional approach
  • Managing incoming calls and emails, ensuring all enquiries are handled efficiently and directed appropriately
  • Maintaining the front-of-house area to a high standard, ensuring it is always presentable and welcoming
  • Supporting the studio in the evening by assisting employees, coordinating bookings, and handling general administrative tasks
  • Managing visitor access, meeting room bookings, and ensuring a smooth and organised front-of-house operation

Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, personable approach and the ability to create a welcoming first impression
  • A genuine interest in creative environments such as architecture, design, or similar industries
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to interact with both clients and internal team members
  • Availability to work evening hours, 5 days a week (4:30pm–9:00pm, 22.5 hours per week) with reliability and consistency
  • No previous reception experience required; however, candidates must have transferable skills and be seeking a long-term, permanent opportunity
