Job Description

A leading London-based infrastructure specialist practice, are keen to meet an outstanding Associate Architect with rail and station experience. Are you searching for career progression and autonomy to lead a team and build real relationships with clients as a project lead on exciting UK projects? You will be responsible for leading the team, setting the agenda and design and delivering world-class projects.

This nationally respected practice would like to receive candidates from diverse backgrounds. You will need to have assembled a portfolio that demonstrates a deep knowledge of the rail sector, both creatively and technically and have led projects in the UK. The role may require substantial travel to service projects and build relationships with clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead a team of architects on rail projects to deliver design excellence.
  • Manage several projects and teams concurrently.
  • To work within the senior leadership team across practice.
  • Be responsible for fees/resourcing/practice management duties.
  • Client engagement and management across all project stages.

Skills and experience

  • Fully qualified architect with Part III.
  • Experience across large-scale rail and infrastructure projects.
  • Experience working with industry code and standards in the sector.
  • Servicing global clients and positively leading the inhouse team.
  • Excellent communication skills and proven experience of mentoring and developing your team.
