Job description
Site Engineer – Highways Scheme (Lincoln) – 12-Month Contract
Location: Lincoln
Start Date: 13th April
Duration: 12 months
Rate: £350 – £420 per day (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out and surveying for highways works in line with project specifications
- Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards
- Managing and interpreting technical drawings and site documentation
- Overseeing subcontractors and site activities
- Conducting quality assurance checks and maintaining accurate site records
- Supporting the site team with daily engineering duties
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways or infrastructure projects
- Strong setting out and surveying skills
- Competence with relevant equipment (e.g. GPS, total station)
- CSCS card (essential)
- SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
