FULL DESCRIPTION
Support Worker
Support Workers play an essential role in helping young people live full, enriched lives. You’ll work in the residential bungalows, forming close professional relationships with the young people you support. This is a hands-on, emotionally rich role that blends care, creativity and connection.
You’ll assist with personal care, mobility, communication and day-to-day routines – but equally you’ll be there to support creativity, fun, and new experiences.
The Role: Supporting independence, celebrating individuality
You’ll assist with personal care, mobility, communication and day-to-day routines – but equally you’ll be there to support creativity, fun, and new experiences.
Challenges you’ll face:
- Balancing routine care with responsive, person-centred support
- Managing behaviours that challenge with compassion and consistency
- Navigating emotional moments, especially with young people facing health or communication barriers
What makes it worthwhile:
- Seeing someone achieve something they couldn’t do before
- Helping build confidence, joy, and a sense of agency in someone's life
- Being part of a warm, supportive team who lift each other up
