Job Description

Are you an experienced Technical Business Analyst?

Do you have experience of Data Analysis, Data Quality and/or Data Migration projects and can use SAS & SQL.

Would you like to work for an award winning Data Management & Analytics consultancy?

Its a hybrid working role and you will be based from either their Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester or London office, typically 3 days a week from home and 2 days in office / on client site.

You must have experience working in the financial services industry (Financial Crime / Fraud specifically) and the right to work in the UK with no Visa restrictions to be eligible to apply.

Experience should include:

  • Significant experience and proficiency in:
  • A methodology-agnostic, pragmatic approach to Technical Business Analysis
  • Wealth of Technical Business Analysis experience (Requirements Gathering, Process and Journey Mapping, Data Mapping, Data Analysis and Documentation)
  • Strong technical knowledge and understanding of relational databases.
  • Awareness and experience of Data Analysis, Data Quality, and/or Data Migration project deliveries
  • Evidence of being able to analyse, facilitate, model and organise information in order to elicit requirements and identify solution ideas
  • Working knowledge of data management and business intelligence concepts (e.g. reporting, querying software, OLAP, spreadsheets, dashboards, and data mining)
  • Ability to facilitate the implementation of new functionality through training sessions, demos, and the development of appropriate documentation
  • Familiarity with different development methodologies (e.g. product model, waterfall, SAFe, agile) and DevOps
  • Project management experience in a traditional and/or agile environment
  • SAS & SQL skills
  • Power BI
  • Knowledge / experience of Databricks would be highly advantageous
