Who you are
- 5+ years of recruitment experience, with prior leadership and mentoring experience
- Experience hiring GTM & sales talent (AEs, BDRs, etc.)
- Experience working in organizations with merit-based hiring practices
- Proven ability to attract world-class talent in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong understanding of full-cycle recruitment
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and trusted with confidential information
- Clear communicator who can manage multiple priorities independently
- Comfortable with ATS platforms, and recruitment analytics
Desirable
- Experience with Ashby
- Experience in startups, fintech, or fast-scaling organizations
- Experience hiring technical talent (Software engineers, Creative Designer, etc.)
- Experience hiring leadership talent (Sr AE, Head of Sales, etc.)
- In-house recruitment experience preferred over consulting companies/agencies
- Global hiring experience
- Ability to manage and scale distributed or multi-location teams
- Analytical mindset for recruitment metrics
What the job involves
Our Recruitment team drives the growth and success of [Employer hidden]. We are looking for a Founding Recruiter who can attract world-class talent, scale high-performing teams, and act as a player/coach to mentor and lead the recruitment function
As the Founding Recruiter, you will establish our hiring foundations and engage top talent through outbound outreach and targeted headhunting
You will own hiring end-to-end from sourcing to offer, ensuring excellent candidate experience across multiple jurisdictions. You will also coach and grow the recruitment team, setting high standards for processes, candidate experience, and hiring outcomes
- Lead recruitment efforts to attract world-class talent across multiple functions
- Execute full-cycle hiring while also coaching and mentoring the recruitment team
- Partner with the leadership team to define role requirements and strategic hiring plans
- Source, engage, and assess top-tier candidates to meet hiring goals
- Maintain candidate pipelines, track hiring metrics, and optimize recruitment processes
- Ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring journey
