About the Role
As a Customer Account Manager, you will be the trusted advisor and main point of contact for our existing customers in EMEA. This isn’t a traditional sales role, instead, you’ll be the champion of long-term success, guiding customers beyond API management toward broader digital strategy alignment. You’ll build strong, consultative relationships and work cross-functionally to ensure customers are realising maximum value from Gravitee’s platform, while uncovering opportunities to deepen the partnership.
Your daily to-do list will feature some or all of the following, but is not limited to:
- Own and grow relationships with a portfolio of key existing customers across EMEA
- Manage overall renewal process
- Act as a strategic advisor and primary point of contact, advocating for your customers internally
- Collaborate with customers on their broader digital strategy, aligning Gravitee to long-term business goals
- Lead regular customer reviews, roadmap alignment sessions, and value realisation discussions
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion by identifying areas for growth and engagement
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Support to resolve issues and deliver strategic outcomes
- Maintain a deep understanding of Gravitee’s platform and how it solves complex, real-world challenges
- Identify and mitigate risks to customer adoption, satisfaction, or renewal
Who you are
- 3+ years of experience in a Strategic Account Management role
- Proven track record of managing enterprise relationships with a strategic lens
- Strong understanding of API management, developer ecosystems, or related technologies (not mandatory but a plus)
- Professionally bi-lingual in French and English
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Comfortable navigating technical conversations, while maintaining a business-value focus
- Highly organised, proactive, and driven by outcomes
