Who you are
- We are seeking a high-calibre End User Sales Specialist with a hunter mindset and a proven track record of over-achieving quotas
- Experience: Experience in Direct End-User Sales of Enterprise SaaS or sophisticated IT Security solutions
- Hunter Profile: A quantifiable track record of exceeding quotas through cold-start territory development
- Methodology: Proficiency in modern enterprise sales frameworks; MEDDPIC certification or practical experience is strongly preferred to drive deal velocity and accuracy
- Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Video and Access Control Cloud security landscape, specifically Cloud-native architectures
- Communication: Exceptional C-level presentation skills; ability to translate complex technical advantages into business outcomes
- Drive: A self-starter who takes total ownership of their "franchise" and has the business acumen to manage complex contracts and pricing negotiations
- Travel: Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

What the job involves
- This role is primarily remote with expected travel within the UK and international travel required as needed
- This position is laser-focused on direct customer business development, selling our innovative Avigilon Alta cloud-native video and access control solutions to solve complex enterprise and public sector challenges
- Our sales professionals own significant territories and are responsible for architecting their own net-new acquisition strategies
- You will work alongside world-class pre-sales engineers to navigate complex procurement cycles, build C-suite relationships, and close high-value deals
- Net-New Business Hunting: Proactively identify, prospect, and engage new enterprise and public sector end-user accounts to build a robust pipeline from scratch
- Demand Generation: Drive market adoption of the Avigilon Alta cloud platform by executing strategic outreach, educating stakeholders on the ROI of cloud-native security, and displacing legacy hardware competitors
- Executive Presence: Present and demonstrate software-defined security solutions to CISOs, CIOs, and Physical Security Directors. You must be comfortable navigating the "politics" of large-scale organizational structures
- Strategic Opportunity Management: Utilize a structured sales methodology—experience with MEDDPIC is highly favourable—to qualify opportunities, identify the Economic Buyer, and navigate the Decision Criteria/Process effectively
- Technical Collaboration: Partner with engineering teams to ensure technical excellence during competitive analysis, RFP responses, and high-stakes Proof-of-Concepts (POCs)
- Ecosystem Navigation: While focused on the end user, you will coordinate with Channel teams on local integrators to ensure seamless delivery and post-sale support
- Forecasting Excellence: Maintain a rigorous Salesforce.com pipeline, providing accurate activity reporting and revenue predictability
