Salary: £30–35k base + £800–£2,000 monthly commission (OTE £40–59k)

About the Role

We’re building the team that will accelerate the UK’s transition to electric vehicles — and we’re looking for ambitious people who want to be part of it

As a Sales Development Representative at Lovelectric, you’ll sit at the front of our commercial engine. You’ll speak to prospective customers every day, spark meaningful conversations, and create high-quality opportunities for our Account Executives

This isn’t a “smile and dial” role. It’s consultative, intelligent and impact-driven. You’ll help people understand EV salary sacrifice, cut through complexity and guide them towards better decisions

What the job involves

  • Turning inbound interest into qualified, sales-ready opportunities
  • Proactively identifying and engaging ideal customers through multi-channel outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn, events, webinars)
  • Explaining [Employer hidden]’s proposition clearly and confidently
  • Qualifying prospects against clear criteria before booking demos
  • Owning your pipeline: tracking activity, conversion and momentum in HubSpot
  • Testing new outreach ideas, messaging and cadences to continuously improve performance
  • Partnering closely with Marketing to feedback on campaigns, messaging and customer experience
  • Hitting agreed meeting and pipeline targets

Who you are

  • Confident & Clear Communicator: You possess strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively answer prospects questions and can demonstrate the value of Lovelectric
  • Always Putting the Customer First: You act with integrity and ensure prospects have the right information to make informed decisions

  • Organisation is key: You manage multiple workstreams, prioritise effectively and maintain a clean, structured pipeline
  • Growth-Minded – You seek feedback, suggest improvements and look for ways to optimise performance and processes
  • 12–18 months experience in an SDR/BDR or similar commercial role
  • Evidence of hitting or exceeding targets
  • Comfortable with both inbound and outbound prospecting using structured outreach
  • Experience using a CRM (HubSpot preferred)
  • Strong written communication skills (for email + LinkedIn outreach)

Desirable

  • Experience in a high-growth or start-up environment
  • Exposure to consultative or solution-led selling
  • Understanding of HR, benefits or salary sacrifice markets
  • Genuine interest in electric vehicles or sustainability
