About [Employer hidden]

The eCommerce boom in recent years has shown no signs of slowing down, and [Employer hidden] is capturing the opportunity. The company offers a set of open source tools to power the online shopping experience for hundreds of thousands of brands.

There are of course competitors, like Shopify Plus, but [Employer hidden] has stood out for serving mid-market companies that were not digitally-native businesses but had to take on digital channels to keep up with customer demand. This, combined with the obvious increase in brands and companies needing help when eCommerce became more mainstream, has served [Employer hidden] particularly well.

Founded in 2000, the company only received its first round of funding in 2022. Until then, it had been profitable off its own back. This capital and support from, among others, Carlyle and PayPal will be invested in its international growth.
