Who you are

  • High organisational ability and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal skills: experience in (or a real desire to work in) customer-facing roles is strongly preferred
  • Self-motivated, curious and proactive in finding and solving problems
  • Flexibility to operate in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • Excited to learn about solar & battery installations and the wider home energy ecosystem

Desirable

  • Experience in energy or renewables is desirable, but definitely isn’t essential as we’ll provide all the training and product knowledge you need

What the job involves

  • Project management: managing the end-to-end installation process, including coordinating with customers, scaffolders, installers and industry bodies to deliver an outstanding customer experience
  • Customer communication: building a strong rapport with customers across their journey - from installation through to in-life - clearly managing expectations, handling unexpected issues and helping customers make the most of their system, including getting set up on the right energy tariff and optimising their battery
  • Technical knowledge: developing a strong working knowledge of domestic solar & battery systems so you can carry out simple surveys, estimate scaffolding costs, and explain technical aspects of an installation or system behaviour to customers in a clear, accessible way, with support from the technical team where needed
  • Working across teams and the wider energy market: you will also have opportunities to engage with other teams in the business, such as Sales and Product, to improve and scale our processes, and staying closely involved in a fast-evolving energy landscape, including smart tariffs, battery optimisation and emerging market developments
