About the Role
Are you a confident communicator with a passion for connecting people and solving problems? We’re looking for an ambitious and motivated Business Development Executive to join our growing sales team. You'll personally identify new opportunities, build relationships with potential clients, and secure sponsorship for our high-quality networking events.
What the job involves
- Engaging with prospective clients across the education, healthcare or the public sector industries
- Learning how to confidently pitch our event sponsorship opportunities
- Booking and attending client calls and online meetings
- Helping manage client relationships before, during and after events
- Maintaining and updating the CRM system (Salesforce) with sales activity and client information
- Supporting event delivery and meeting clients face-to-face onsite
- Seeking insights into industry trends and client needs to inform your personal outreach
Who you are
- A strong desire to learn and grow within a dynamic B2B sales environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A proactive, positive attitude and a willingness to take initiative
- Confidence to engage with professionals at all levels
- Organised, with good attention to detail
- Experience in sales, customer service, events or business development
- A willingness to learn and engage with your own development
