Company: [Employer hidden]
Location: London
Work Type: Hybrid (3-5 days a week in office)
Salary: £60,000 - £160,000 per year
About the Role
[Employer hidden] is doubling down on AI and has launched a groundbreaking AI Adoption Platform. You'll join the Adoption AI Team, a high-velocity squad operating like a startup, building a category-defining product from scratch. Our MVP showed 10x adoption results, and we're building the engine to scale it globally. We're looking for a player-coach to lead two PMs, working under our VP Product and paired with a dedicated engineering pod.
Who You Are
You're a builder who's grown into a leader, with an instinct to get hands-on. You think in prototypes, lead with clarity, and bring your team along. You have experience taking a B2B product from 0 to 1, love building in ambiguity, and are excited about AI's practical use cases. You're a natural people leader, can hold strong opinions loosely, and want to shape something early-stage from the top.
- 0→1 Product Experience: Built a commercially successful B2B product from scratch.
- People Leadership: Managed and mentored PMs, coaching them without micromanaging.
- Hiring Instinct: Built teams or ready to, know what 'great' looks like in a PM.
- Product Strategy Chops: Can define strategy with VP-level stakeholders and work on feature details.
- Building Skills: Hands-on experience building prototypes using AI tools (non-negotiable).
- Stakeholder Management: Proactive communication, build trust, keep everyone informed.
- B2B Edge: Strong experience in B2B or B2B2C product management.
- Technical Craft: Familiarity with full-stack environments (ideally AWS and React).
- Exceptional Communication: Ability to sell a vision to engineers, execs, or hires.
What the Job Involves
In your first 6 months, you'll:
- Own the Product Strategy: Define and articulate the vision for our AI Adoption Platform.
- Drive the Roadmap: Take full ownership of planning and executing the product roadmap.
- Lead & Grow Your Team: Directly manage two PMs, setting them up for success.
- Move from MVP to Scale: Lead the build-out of our core product suite.
- Build & Lead by Example: Use AI tools to prototype and ship alongside your team.
- Influence Across the Business: Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, GTM, and senior leadership.
Here's how great PMs operate on our team:
- Solve for Customer Value: Obsess over role-specific use cases that solve real pain points.
- Drivers, Not Passengers: Lead the solution, bring others along, and don't wait for permission.
- Be Decisive, Even in Ambiguity: Launch 'imperfect' solutions, test them, and course-correct.
- AI to Deliver Outcomes: Treat AI tools as core parts of your toolkit.
- Outcome-Driven Delivery: Consistently make the right technical trade-offs to deliver value quickly.
Application Process
The application process includes:
- Recruiter Screen
- Hiring Manager Intro Interview
- The 'Building Assignment: A product exercise where you build and present a prototype using AI tools.
- Operating Principles Final: A final interview with senior leadership.
