About [Employer hidden]
[Employer hidden] is a machine learning startup with a mission to open source the law. Its platform automates the drafting and review of legal contracts through workflow tools and AI. Companies on Genie no longer have to pay £5000 to a law firm for their contract, but can pay Genie a cheaper monthly fee instead.
Genie is not just AI - it works with a marketplace of top-tier lawyers, combining the best of human and machine intelligence to deeply understand contracts. Its state-of-the-art deep learning, private and explainable machine learning algorithms have been developed in conjunction with professors at Imperial College, UCL and Oxford University, and the team has published papers in top NLP conferences with Oxford University. The company most recently partnered with The University of Bristol to provide free legal contracts for the next generation of entrepreneurs.
Genie is already becoming a leader in the legaltech industry, having been selected on multiple government trade missions, mentioned in parliament by the Secretary of State for Justice, and backed by world leaders such as Lord Neuberger, the former President of the Supreme Court. It is very well positioned in the generative AI market that is expected to be worth around $110B by 2030.
