  • Proven leadership in solutions consulting or pre-sales, with a strong track record guiding customers through complex technical and operational evaluations.
  • Deep technical acumen with the ability to rapidly understand, dissect, and articulate sophisticated SaaS solutions, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the entire pre-sales cycle.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, both written and verbal, capable of engaging diverse audiences ranging from technical practitioners to C-level executives.
  • Expert-level discovery skills, including the ability to ask incisive, strategic questions that uncover customer challenges, map solution fit, and influence decision-making across multiple personas.
  • Extensive experience working with configurable, customised, or enterprise-grade B2B SaaS platforms, ideally within multi-stakeholder or multi-workflow environments.
  • Collaborative leadership mentality, operating as a cross-functional partner to sales, product, engineering, and customer success.
  • Continuous learner with strong commercial awareness, staying ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving customer expectations.

What the job involves

  • Join our growing Customer Success team as a Forward Deployed Engineer, where you’ll serve as the technical authority driving the acquisition of new creators across music, adventure travel, entertainment and experience-based businesses.
  • In this role, you’ll champion the technical strengths and extensibility of [Employer hidden]’s configurable platform showcasing how our architecture, integrations and data capabilities align with the evolving operational needs of modern experience creators.
  • You’ll design and deliver compelling solution narratives through technically robust sales presentations, discovery sessions, and live product demonstrations that illustrate not just feature capability, but the end-to-end commercial value and measurable business impact [Employer hidden] can unlock.
  • Acting as a strategic partner throughout the pre-sales cycle, you’ll surface and qualify complex business and technical requirements, translate them into scalable solutions and identify high-value opportunities where [Employer hidden]’s platform can drive efficiency, revenue growth, and long-term success for both our creators and the [Employer hidden] ecosystem.
  • Craft and deliver clear, compelling, and technically robust product demonstrations, both remotely and on-site, that communicate the unique value and architecture of the [Employer hidden] platform.
  • Showcase the full capabilities of [Employer hidden]’s ecosystem, including the website builder, checkout experience, and Paystack-powered payments, to illustrate how creators can elevate their events, excursions, and entertainment offerings.
  • Partner closely with Sales to run in-depth discovery, understand complex technical and commercial requirements, and tailor demos, solution narratives, and ROI stories accordingly.
  • Dive deep into platform functionalities, integrations, and workflows to build customised demonstrations that directly address the operational challenges and growth objectives of potential creators.
  • Identify and articulate high-value commercial opportunities such as revenue optimisation, operational efficiency and conversion uplift that [Employer hidden] can unlock for new creators.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive technologies, and emerging best practices to ensure our pre-sales strategy remains innovative and differentiated.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure a seamless post-sale transition, supporting handover documentation, configuration guidance, and the successful onboarding of new creators to the [Employer hidden] platform.
  • Work with Marketing to refine product messaging, demo assets, and value propositions so they resonate strongly with targeted creator verticals.
  • Leverage AI-driven tools to streamline demo preparation, automate repetitive pre-sales tasks, and accelerate delivery of customised solution assets for sales cycles.
  • Use AI-powered insights to analyse customer data, identify value opportunities, and provide more accurate forecasting, scoping, and solution recommendations.
  • Champion internal adoption of emerging AI technologies to improve team productivity, enhance demo environments, and optimise cross-functional collaboration across Sales, CS, and Marketing.
