The Proposal Manager role will be pivotal in driving the strategic direction of proposal submissions and enhancing our competitive edge in the marine science sector. Main duties will include:
- Lead on the development, preparation, pricing and submission of high-quality tenders/bids, delivering to customer requirements.
- Build excellent customer and team communications.
- Manage the development and delivery of proposal activities as well as provide support to the Head of Enterprise, Enterprise team members and contribute towards business strategy.
- Ensure procedures, quality assurance and guidance documents are fit for purpose and are compliant with appropriate regulatory requirements.
About you:
This opportunity is well-suited to candidates with strong commercial knowledge and experience in a similar role in Proposals/Tenders and/or Consultancy. Knowledge of marine science is advantageous, though not essential.
You’ll need a can-do attitude, should love solving problems and enjoy challenging yourself and others to improve the status quo. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage your time and workload effectively to meet deadlines. You should be a team player with a focus on building relationships and leading teams.
