JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client, an oil and gas operator, is currently recruiting a Subsea Project Delivery Specialist, based in their office in Aberdeen, with occasional offshore travel when required.

ROLE

The Subsea Project Delivery Specialist will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of the subsea scope, including vendor management, engineering assurance, commissioning support, regulatory input, and project execution. The role is critical in ensuring safe, compliant, and timely delivery of subsea systems and infrastructure.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the development and delivery of the subsea scope of the project.
  • Manage subsea vendors and contractors to ensure the subsea scope is optimised, technically assured and delivered safely on time and on budget
  • Develop with the HSEQ specialist the specific subsea HSEQ requirements for the Project and manage these throughout the project
  • Provide subsea input to all Regulatory requirements, including the Field Development Plan (FDP) and Environmental Statements (ES EIA)
  • Responsible for subsea risks, cost & schedule.
  • Manage the subsea vendors pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures for the Project
  • Prepare and submit all required stage-gate documentation under the PPMS framework for subsea scope.
  • Provide input to subsea progress reports, costs, trackers, and updates to the project steering group.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree level engineering qualification
  • Significant proven track record in successfully managing subsea delivery of major capital projects from FEED through to production.
  • Strong technical knowledge of subsea systems (flowlines, umbilical’s, manifolds, risers, tie-ins, control systems).
  • Experience with UKCS regulatory submissions and subsea HSEQ compliance.
  • Skilled in risk management and cost/schedule management.
