ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Document Controller to support our project delivery teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working within small/medium consultancy or project based environments and will bring excellent attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-moving setting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage, maintain and update project MDRs (Master Document Registers).
- Coordinate the submission and delivery of documentation to multiple clients, ensuring full compliance with each client’s document control requirements.
- Conduct QA checks on all outgoing documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and correct formatting.
- Oversee the receipt, logging, filing, and distribution of incoming project documents.
- Ensure version control and maintain document traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support project teams by providing guidance on document management processes and best practices.
- Manage and optimise SharePoint and other relevant systems.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Document Controller role.
- Background in small/medium consultancy or project-based environments (essential).
- Highly organised, diligent, and reliable, with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Experienced with industry-standard DMS platforms, including ProArc, Assai, PIMS, Laserfiche (or similar).
- Familiarity with client-specific documentation requirements in engineering or project delivery settings (desirable).
