Electrical Engineer
An experienced Electrical Engineer is required to join a global energy services company on a permanent basis, supporting ongoing engineering activities within the P&A Applications group. The role focuses on electrical design and interfacing for a compact workover rig programme, supporting well P&A operations. Chartered Engineer status is preferred, along with a strong background in electrical system design for drilling or well intervention equipment, and experience with workover rigs or similar offshore drilling assets. Capability in equipment interfacing, system integration, and electrical architecture development, including power generation, is essential. Familiarity with offshore standards and UKCS regulatory requirements is also required.
ROLE
The role will focus on electrical design and interfacing activities associated with a compact workover rig programme, supporting well P&A operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Chartered Engineer status preferred (CEng or working towards)
- Strong background in electrical system design for drilling or well intervention equipment
- Experience in workover rigs and/or similar offshore drilling assets is preferred but not essential
- Proven capability in equipment interfacing, system integration, and electrical architecture development, including power generation
- Familiarity with offshore standards and UKCS regulatory requirements
- Solid project experience
