JOB DESCRIPTION

[Employer hidden] are currently recruiting a Painter on behalf of our client based in Aberdeen. The role will be on a permanent (staff) basis and the hours of work are as follows: 40 hours week (8:00am – 4:30pm)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Carry out Spray Painting to agreed standard.
Perform all aspects of a coatings projects safely and efficiently.
Understanding of different coating systems and required microns.
Operate, clean and maintain all painting equipment, including paint robot, brushes, rollers, sprayers, mixing equipment, pumps and PPE.
Carry out painting inspection and ensure this is documented to agreed procedure.
Maintain a safe work site.

REQUIREMENTS

Strong work ethic
Knowledge on areas requiring masking/protection
High attention to detail
Understanding of the application of high performance coatings.
Requires experience with all aspects of painting, surface preparation, finishing and maintenance of a wide variety of industrial structures.
Basic understanding of coatings scope documents.
Forklift License B2 (preferred but not essential)
Proven track record in blasting & painting.
