Job Introduction
We have an exciting *new* role to join our growing HR team! Reporting directly to our newly created ER Manager role, our HR Coordinator will provide administration support in all aspects of Employee Relations. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our ER manager to coordinate the administration of key processes, schedule formal meetings, and attend selective hearings. Maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding employee data will be a crucial aspect of the role.

Main Responsibility
- Alongside the HR Administrator, manage the HR Inboxes, answer queries and provide basic practical advice to managers and employees in relation to policies and procedures
- Support the HR KPIs by ensuring that cases are detailed within the ER Case tracker and documentation is returned within the specific timeframes
- Under the guidance of the ER Manager, coordinate the administration behind key processes, including invite letters, suspension, investigation and outcome letters, flexible working requests, AWOL process, short term sickness absence, that are necessary to support effective ER intervention
- Schedule formal meetings for managers and staff within the specified timescales, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is provided
- Attend selective hearings and meetings to assist the ER Manager
- Support employees by providing information and assistance throughout the employment lifecycle
- Use own initiative and considered judgment to answer queries and make suggestions in line with [Employer hidden]' policies and procedures
- Conduct exit interviews, when necessary
- Support specific projects and other ad-hoc tasks as directed by the HR leadership team
- Keep up to date with developments in employment legislation, HR policies and human resources best practice to ensure continuous development
- Provide cover to the HR Administrator relating to producing contracts and time-bound HR activity in times of leave
- Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and safeguarding employee data
The Ideal Candidate
- At least 1 years’ of experience in an HR Administrator/Coordinator or similar role
- Experience in managing shared inboxes and providing advice to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures
- Experience in supporting employee relations casework, including disciplinary, grievance and performance related matters
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software
- Proactive approach to continuous learning and development
- Enthusiastic, energetic and able to inspire and motivate others
- Ability to organise, prioritise and manage a busy workload
- Goal-orientated and gives clear direction and manages people cases with sensitivity and courtesy
- Able to work in a team-culture
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Customer-focused, recognising that the quality of service provided determines the success of the HR Department
