We operate on an office-based contract model, but support hybrid working where possible. This means you’ll need to be based within reasonable travel distance of the office and able to attend in person when business needs require—typically 2–3 days per week, though this may vary by team or project. Flexibility to be on site when needed is essential.

The Opportunity
As a Commercial Assistant, you’ll provide essential support to the Supply Chain Management Team. You’ll work closely with colleagues across Nuclear Development to ensure contracts are delivered effectively and contribute to the success of the [Employer hidden] project.
Key Responsibilities
- Contractor Applications: Process payment certificates in line with contractual terms.
- Progress Reviews: Attend valuation and progress meetings to monitor delivery.
- Reporting: Prepare commercial cost reports, progress metrics, and supplier performance reviews.
- Process Management: Manage the Early Warning process and maintain commercial tools such as CEMAR and SAP.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in a commercial or procurement environment.
- Familiarity with industry-standard procurement practices.
- Understanding of contract performance, risk, and change management.
- Knowledge of estimating, valuations, cost reporting, and financial modelling.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: £31,000 – £36,000 (depending on experience)
Bonus: 5% annual incentive
Pension: Up to 7.5% employee contribution, 15% employer contribution
Holidays: 28 days annual leave plus Bank holidays
