About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Town Planner to Senior Town Planner to join a well-established and highly respected planning consultancy in Birmingham.

This is a fantastic role for someone looking to work on a diverse range of projects across sectors including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments, while being part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team.

The Role:

You'll be involved in the full planning process, from early-stage strategy through to application submission and delivery. The role offers exposure to high-profile projects and the chance to work closely with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and managing planning applications and appeals.
  • Providing strategic planning advice to clients.
  • Supporting project delivery across a variety of sectors.
  • Engaging with local authorities and key stakeholders.
  • Contributing to business development and client relationships.

About You:

  • MRTPI qualified (or working towards).
  • Experience within a consultancy or local authority environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK planning system.
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills.
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset.
