Job Description

The Role

As a Customer Service Executive, you will play a key role in supporting the achievement of branch sales, profitability, and customer service targets. You will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, building strong relationships while identifying opportunities to increase sales and margins.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately set up customer accounts and process orders, ensuring call logs and reports are completed correctly
  • Handle customer queries, issues, and requests efficiently and professionally, ensuring timely follow-up where required
  • Manage out-of-stock situations by liaising with purchasing teams and keeping customers informed
  • Make daily outbound calls in line with the call diary to generate repeat orders
  • Ensure all orders are accurately captured while maximising sales opportunities through range extensions, own-brand products, and promotions
  • Develop new and lapsed accounts within a defined portfolio, working collaboratively with the wider sales team
  • Analyse reports and conduct gap analysis to identify growth opportunities, including product switching, special offers, and account development
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams including operations, sales, stock control, and credit control to deliver excellent customer service
