About the role
An opportunity for an Associate Director to join our CIBSE award-winning Building Services team in Leeds. This is a strategic role that will see you providing crucial leadership to projects, teams, and clients. This role will see you driving outstanding multidisciplinary project delivery, enhancing the technical knowledge and standards of the team, and supporting business development activities in close partnership with senior leaders in the MEP discipline and wider business.
Key duties:
- Acting as a Project Leader / Director for multi-disciplinary projects operating across multiple groups, working with a Project Director to take overall responsibility for the technical and financial performance of the projects.
- Being a technical champion for the delivery of high quality, robust and correct designs.
- Taking ownership for mechanical systems and resilient designs with an ability to mentor others while retaining responsibility for product delivery.
- Leading or participating in high-level project technical/quality reviews.
- Mentoring more junior employees so that meaningful delegation can apply within the team.
- Taking ownership for project delivery programmes and contributing to resource management activities.
- Organising project workshops to ensure that the wider expertise of the firm is available to the project.
- Promoting [Employer hidden]’s integrated services to potential Clients.
- Reviewing financial and technical submissions/proposals; attending interviews.
- Developing and maintaining key client relationships under all circumstances, maximizing opportunities for repeat business.
Your skills & experience
- Experience leading MEP deliverables on projects and acting in a Project Director / Project Leader role.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams on complex projects.
- Comfortable in a client-facing role and comfortable presenting.
- Chartered with a relevant institution, e.g. CIBSE.
- Relevant qualifications.
