About The Role
The Finance Assistant role sits within the Record to Report (RTR) team, part of our wider Global Finance Shared Services. You’ll support finance teams across our global regions (UK, Europe, India, Middle East and US), working closely with colleagues in the UK and our offshore team in the Philippines.
This is a dynamic, varied role with a strong operational foundation, offering excellent opportunities to learn, develop and grow within finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing monthly intercompany invoices (project and non‑project, receivable and payable).
- Posting daily cash receipts against sales invoices.
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations.
- Posting ad‑hoc bank transactions and supporting group bank reconciliations.
- Supporting month‑end close activities, including foreign currency revaluations and journals.
- Managing and documenting finance processes to ensure consistency and quality.
- Supporting timesheet movement processes handled by the offshore FSS team.
- Providing cover for Global Accounts Payable activities when required.
- Lead the end‑to‑end production of management accounts and ensure accurate reporting of project revenue and costs.
What We Are Looking For:

- Motivated, flexible and eager to learn new processes.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience:
Previous experience in a finance or accounting environment (e.g. Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or General Accounting).
Qualifications:
GCSE Maths and English at grade B / 5–6 or above.
Studying towards, or keen to undertake, AAT training (desirable).
