Commercial Gas Engineer
Location: Birmingham, UK
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum + van, pension, 33 days holiday
Sector: Gas / Combustion
The Role
- Installation, Servicing and Maintenance of Temporary Commercial Boilers and Chillers
- Fault Finding on Chilled Water Systems, AHUs and Forced Draft Burners
- Mechanical Modifications Within Existing Plant Rooms and Pipework Systems
- Attending Client Sites Across Birmingham and Surrounding Areas
- Supporting Junior Engineers and Assisting With Technical Development
- Ensuring All Work Is Completed in Line With Safety and Compliance Standards
Key Requirements
- Strong Experience Working on Commercial Mechanical Systems
- Experience With LTHW Systems and Chilled Water Systems
- Knowledge of Natural Gas and Oil-Fired Boiler Systems
- Experience With Control Wiring and Electrical Services
- Experience Working on Air Cooled Chillers and AHU Equipment
- Commercial Gas Safe Certification
- F Gas Refrigeration Certification
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to Participate in Call Out Rota When Required
- Willingness to Complete DBS Checks for Certain Client Sites
Training and Development
- F Gas Training
- OFTEC Certification
- SSSTS / SMSTS Courses
- Additional Specialist Mechanical and Refrigeration Training
