About the Role

Are you a Chartered Building Surveyor looking to join a SME consultancy where your voice is genuinely heard? We're working with a well-established property consultancy with a strong presence in the North West, looking to appoint a Senior Chartered Building Surveyor / Associate Director to support continued growth within their Preston office.

You'll be joining a close knit, collaborative team where you won't just be a number. With a strong pipeline of work and increasing demand, this role offers the chance to take on real responsibility whilst helping shape the future of the team.

You'll work closely with the existing Chartered Surveyor and support a team of junior surveyors, with the opportunity to play a key role in project delivery and client relationships.

The work is varied and includes:

  • Commercial (core workload)
  • Retail
  • Industrial
  • Heritage projects
  • Residential

Key Responsibilities

Senior Building Surveyor

  • Deliver a range of project and professional Building Surveying services
  • Manage projects from inception through to completion
  • Contract administration (primarily JCT contracts)
  • Support and mentor junior team members
  • Build and maintain client relationships

There is also scope to get involved in business development, although this is not essential.

About You

  • MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor
  • Strong project experience, including contract administration
  • Experience working across commercial property
  • Comfortable managing projects and supporting junior staff
  • A team player who wants to be part of a collaborative environment
