HANDYMAN (ELECTRICAL BIAS)

Salary: £32500 - £35000 per annum

The Role
We're working with a well-established organisation seeking a multi-skilled Handyman with a strong electrical bias to join a busy site in Ellesmere Port. This role is ideal for someone qualified to 18th Edition with solid electrical experience, who is also comfortable carrying out general maintenance and fabric tasks.
This is a hands-on position where you'll be responsible for both electrical works and wider site upkeep, ensuring the facility remains safe, compliant, and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and minor installation works
- Deliver general handyman duties including painting & decorating, basic plumbing (e.g. toilets), and fabric repairs
- Support both planned and reactive maintenance across site
- Liaise with contractors and ensure work is completed safely and to standard
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with Health & Safety regulations
- Participate in an on-call rota (£175 per call-out)
About You
Essential:
- 18th Edition qualification (required)
- Proven electrical experience within a commercial or industrial environment (required)
- Ability to carry out general maintenance tasks including painting, basic plumbing, and fabric work
- Hands-on, reliable, and proactive approach
- Strong ability to prioritise and manage workload
Desirable:
- Experience within a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment
- Basic IT skills for logging jobs and reporting
