MEP BIM Coordinator

A growing building services Engineering consultancy is looking to appoint an MEP BIM Coordinator to support the development of its Bristol presence, with wider backing from an established regional team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects, working autonomously and playing a key role within a close-knit team environment.

The business already has an established BIM function in place, but this position offers the chance to become a key figure within a smaller office that is actively looking to grow.

The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and coordinating BIM/Revit models, taking engineer information and producing coordinated MEP models with minimal supervision. There will be regular collaboration with engineers and project teams, but this role is well suited to someone who is confident managing their own workload and driving projects forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and manage BIM/Revit models across a range of projects
  • Produce coordinated MEP models from engineer mark-ups and design information
  • Coordinate clashes and ensure models are delivered to a high standard
  • Work closely with engineers, designers and project teams
  • Support BIM standards, processes and project delivery
  • Communicate effectively with both colleagues and external stakeholders
  • Take ownership of projects and work with limited supervision

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an MEP BIM Coordinator, Revit Technician or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Revit and MEP coordination
  • Experience producing coordinated building services models
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
  • Based within commuting distance of Bristol or Cardiff

This role would suit someone looking to step into a position where they can have a real impact, take on responsibility and help shape the future of a growing office.
