Stores Operative
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] Gas is seeking an engaging and proactive Stores Operative to join their Central Stores Team at the Stoney Stanton site. The role involves supplying parts to engineers and direct to sites for tank and cylinder fitting/maintenance, checking and shelving stock, and processing returns. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm or 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. Immediate start is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and packing orders from pick slips
- Checking orders
- Moving stock
- Goods in
- Sorting returns
- Stock takes
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse
Requirements
- Computer Literate – experience of MRP systems i.e SAP would be advantageous
- FLT licence preferred but not essential
- Reliable
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work in a busy environment
- Ability to give attention to detail
- Works well in a team
