Job Description

The Customer Engineering team at [Employer hidden] are looking to recruit an engaging and proactive Gas Engineer providing engineering services and emergency response to Calor customers in the area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installing and maintaining Calor’s bulk tanks and assets at customer sites.
  • Travel (van and fuel provided) in order to meet customer service standards for our largely rural customer base
  • The role requires participation in a standby rota to respond to gas emergencies out of normal working hours. Therefore, you will need to have a flexible, positive, and adaptable approach. Additional rates of pay apply.

Requirements

  • ACS Gas Qualified.
  • Experience in dealing with customers and providing excellent customer care.
  • Any relevant gas engineering experience would be considered useful, and an understanding of LPG and the installation and maintenance of bulk LPG tanks and cylinders would be a distinct advantage.
  • Have knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards, including Health and Safety awareness
  • Be able to follow procedures and instructions
  • A Full Manual UK driving licence is essential.

Full industry specific training and support will be given to the right individual.
