About the Role
EYFS Class Teacher full time (MPS)
We are looking for an enthusiastic new teacher to join our ‘warm and ‘welcoming’ school (OFSTED). We are lucky to teach great children who are well- behaved and keen to learn. Our school has been refurbished and expanded in recent years, as a result we benefit from a spacious and attractive environment. Our team is especially friendly, and we offer many opportunities to collaborate with colleagues. We have a genuine commitment to work- life balance. Our staff feel supported and know that any decisions made by school leaders have their well-being at heart. This was recognised in our inspection, ‘Staff feel valued. This is because leaders, including governors, provide good support. Staff are very positive about the actions taken to reduce their workload. This includes dedicated leadership time for staff who lead a subject. Staff praised leaders for taking steps to help them to manage their work–life balance.’ At Oakdale we take pride in ensuring staff well-being comes first. We make sure that we offer a range of ways to reduce stress and workload and ensure everyone feels supported and valued; from regular staff treats and events, flexible release time, manageable marking, no expectation to run clubs, team working for leadership and planning activities, days off in lieu for attendance at residentials, and many more!
