Job Type: Fixed term contract until 31st August 2027
Hours: 32.5 hours per week
About the Role

[Employer hidden] is looking to appoint a General Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic, friendly and supportive team. The successful candidate will enjoy working with children and play a key role in supporting children across the academy. They will be a caring, creative, proactive and enthusiastic individual with the ability to support high quality teaching and have a passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
As a General Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping our children thrive academically, emotionally, and socially. The role requires the candidate to work closely with teachers and other support staff. Your day will be spent in classrooms, working alongside children in small groups or supporting children on a one-to-one basis to fully understand the lesson.
We are looking for an empathetic and adaptable individual who thrives under pressure and has the natural ability to solve challenges. The role requires good physical and emotional resilience, as part of this role will be to provide personal care for some children, as required.
To support our children the ideal candidate will have a good standard of written and spoken English and Maths skills.
