Job Description

[Employer hidden] is committed to providing an excellent standard of education with a strong Christian ethos. Pupils are proud to attend our school and are keen to learn. They speak positively about being part of a small school where everyone is known, accepted and cared for.

All our work is underpinned by our school bible verse ‘Act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with your God.’ Micah 6:8 (b). The staff are committed to respond fully to the academic, social, spiritual and emotional needs of our pupils and this is reflected in all aspects of our school’s work.

We are looking for a special person who is highly motivated, hardworking and enthusiastic to join our team. We need someone to work in our Year 3/4 class in the morning and Early Years/Year 1 in the afternoon on a Thursday and Friday to support our children’s learning. The role also involves a daily Midday Supervisor role of 30 minutes each day. A lunch break will be factored into the hours worked.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be committed to our school’s ethos of care and support for all children.
  • Enjoy making learning a positive experience.
  • Have experience of, or be willing to learn, how to support and extend learning with our children.
  • Be highly organised and have excellent time management skills.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills that motivate and inspire children.
  • Support children to develop their social skills.
  • Be highly motivated, have a positive attitude and be able to use their own initiative.

We can offer you:

  • Fantastic children who want to learn.
  • A talented team of caring, enthusiastic staff.
  • A welcoming, friendly and fun atmosphere.
