Job Description
[Employer hidden], part of the Diocese of Ely Multi-Academy Trust (DEMAT), is seeking to appoint a Part-Time SEN Level 2 Teaching Assistant. This is a 30-hour per week role, working Monday – Friday from 8.45am – 3.15pm, for 38 weeks per year. The position commences as soon as possible.
We are looking for a committed SEN Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant team. The role's purpose is to provide pupils with classroom support.
About You
- Experience of working with children and/or as a Teaching Assistant
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- Enthusiastic, ambitious, and serious about improving children’s life chances through education
- Highly organised, conscientious, and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload
- Able to work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents, and pupils
- A ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to use initiative
- Able to work flexibly and professionally
