About the Role

Pathfinder CoE Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a committed Assistant Headteacher to join a vibrant team of enthusiastic, hardworking individuals. We are looking for an experienced leader who will act as an excellent role model; exemplifying a high standard of teaching and promoting high expectations for all members of the school community.

About You

  • Be a reflective practitioner with strong leadership skills
  • Have experience of leading an aspect of the curriculum
  • Have experience of developing and implementing teaching and learning initiatives
  • Have experience of teaching within Key Stage 2
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Be enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education
  • Be highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload
  • Be able to work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils
  • Have a ‘can-do’ attitude and able to work flexibly and professionally
  • Share our vision and values and be ready to contribute to school life beyond the classroom
