Job Type: Part-time (18 hours per week)

Salary: £12049 – £12448 pa (Scale 5, point 14-16)

About the Role

Due to retirement of our long serving Finance/HR Manager, we are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure there is accurate day to day financial transactions, working closely with the Headteacher
  • Preparing and monitoring the school budget
  • Update payroll and personnel records
  • Maintain appropriate Pre-School finances
  • Maintain the accounts of the before and after school childcare provision

Requirements

  • excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • GCSE grade C or equivalent (grade 5) in Maths and English
  • Good IT skills and experience of working within education finance
  • a positive outlook and a sense of humour
