SEND Teaching Assistant

Job Description

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support teaching with pupils who have a wide range of complex needs, including challenging behaviours and autism within our school. The successful candidate could be asked to work with any age group in the school but primarily in Year 1 with a child with additional needs.

Experience of working with children with SEND is desirable, but not essential. Full training and support are given.

This is a temporary (named child contract) position in the first instance, likely needed until August 2027 and it is term time only. There is the possibility of the post being made permanent if school budgets and need allow.
