Level 1 Teaching Assistant

Location: Sand Street, Ely, Cambs

Salary: £19,430 – £20,044 (pro rata)

Hours: 30 hours 50 minutes per week, Term time only

We are fortunate to have Teachers with us who started their careers as Teaching Assistants, and progressed by applying for opportunities as they occurred.

This role is required from 1 January 2026.

Part time applicants may be considered.

Working Hours & Salary

30 hours 50 minutes per week
8.30am – 3.00pm Monday to Friday, including a 20 minute unpaid lunch
Term time only

Salary range £19,430 – £20,044
Based on fte £24,413 – £25,185
(Dependent upon qualifications, skills and experience)
