About the Role

[Employer hidden], part of the Diocese of Ely Multi-Academy Trust (DEMAT), is seeking to appoint a Part-Time Level 2 Teaching Assistant. This role involves working 23 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, commencing as soon as possible. The primary purpose of this role is to provide pupils with classroom support.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally:

  • Have experience of working with children and/or as a Teaching Assistant
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
  • Be enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education
  • Be highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload
  • Be able work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils
  • Have a ‘can-do’ attitude and has the ability to use their initiative
  • Be able to work flexibly and professionally
