Part time KS2 intervention TA

Job Description

Oakdale is a happy and friendly school where we all support one another. We are looking for a teaching assistant to join our caring and committed team in KS2. The role will be working across the Key Stage to support children through intervention. Previous experience in a similar role is essential but training in intervention will be provided. We are looking for someone who would like to make a difference to our pupils. We are keen to develop the skills and knowledge of all our staff so you will be supported with coaching from one of our fantastic HLTAs and have regular mentoring meetings as part of Induction. Our teaching assistants are highly supportive of one another and take part in regular peer coaching to share good practice.

• Title: Part time Teaching Assistant Level 2 KS2
• Salary: Grade 6 point 7, FTE: £26,403, Actual: £11,407
• Hours: 8:30 – 3:30 = 19 Hrs 10 mins (19.16 Hrs) 3 days per week
• Start Date: Late Feb 26
• Closing Date: 20th January 2026
