About the Role
The Diocese of Ely Multi Academy Trust (DEMAT) is seeking to appoint a part-time Transactional Finance Assistant, 22 hours per week, 4 days per week. The role is based at DEMAT’s offices in Ely, with hybrid working available, expecting a minimum of 2 days in the office each week. The position is set to commence in January 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a strong foundation in all aspects of finance administration. Candidates must be self-motivated, customer focused, organised and have great attention to detail.
Responsibilities
The successful applicant will undertake a varied range of transactional processing.
Requirements
- Be experienced working in a similar finance role including accounts payable and receivable
- Have experience of using computerised accounting software
- Have credit control experience
- Be able to deliver excellent customer service and work as part of a team
- Be resilient and be able to prioritise and set clear priorities in managing their workload.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well at all levels.
