About the Role
[Employer hidden], part of the Diocese of Ely Multi-Academy Trust (DEMAT), is seeking to appoint a Part-Time Nursery Level 3 Teaching Assistant. This is a fixed-term role until 31 August 2026, with the possibility of becoming permanent. The role requires working 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, with working hours from 8:15 am to 3:15 pm. The purpose of this role is to provide high-quality nursery support to the pupils.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally:
- Have experience of working as a Nursery Teaching Assistant and experience of covering classes.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Be enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education.
- Be highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload.
- Be able work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils.
- Have a ‘can-do’ attitude and has the ability to use their initiative.
- Be able to work flexibly and professionally.
