School Lunchtime Supervisor

About the Role
We are looking to recruit a Midday Supervisor at our Kitelands Road Site. The appointed person will be responsible, during the lunchtime break, for the supervision, safety, general welfare and proper conduct of children.
Main duties/responsibilities
- Setting up and clearing away the dining areas of any tables and chairs.
- Ensuring all safeguarding procedures are followed.
- The supervision of the children’s entry into the dining room.
- Assisting children where necessary to carry trays to tables and to return empty dishes to the service counter.
- Supervision of children in the playground or other area of the school as required, dealing with any incidents of inappropriate behaviour in line with the school’s Behaviour Policy.
- Ensuring dining areas are clean and tidy.
- Organising play/games as appropriate.
- Assisting children who are unwell.
- Are prepared to work inside and outside in all weather conditions.
- Have a commitment to the importance of play.
- Have a good understanding and commitment to equality, diversity and the principles of inclusion.
- Can develop, lead and work as part of a dynamic and committed team.
Hours and Contract
Hours available: Monday – Friday, term time + 1 day
- 5 hours per week – (Monday – Friday, 12:00pm – 1:00pm)
Contract: Permanent – start date ASAP
Salary
1D Point 2 – £12.65 per hour
