About the Role

Are you passionate about education and eager to gain valuable classroom experience? We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our dedicated team, providing essential classroom support in a dynamic school environment.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences. You’ll deliver pre-prepared lessons, manage classroom behaviour, and provide guidance to ensure students remain engaged and productive. This role is perfect for individuals considering a career in teaching, recent graduates, or anyone with experience working with young people in an educational setting.

The successful candidate will possess a passion and enthusiasm to learn and progress in their role. Experience in supporting educational activities and/or administrative tasks within a school would be an advantage, as we encourage colleagues to contribute at all levels, but full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons to students.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
  • Ensure students remain engaged and productive.
  • Provide guidance and support to students.

Requirements

  • Passion and enthusiasm for education and learning.
  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Experience in supporting educational activities or administrative tasks within a school is advantageous but not essential.
  • Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
